success stories on Agricultural Research for Development in Asia and the Pacific
APAARI has been a pioneer in documenting success stories in agricultural research and innovation systems in the Asia-Pacific region. So far they have published more than 40 success stories on diverse themes on dissemination of agricultural technologies, practices and innovations in the region. All success stories are published both in hard copy and digitally and can be accessed on APAARI website. Have a look at the published success stories.

In 2015-2016, APAARI plans to publish more success stories. Therefore, APAARI calls for identifying topics/titles and authors for such success stories. The success stories should cover successful generation, testing, adaptation and adoption of improved/ novel technologies, practices and innovations (including policies, institutions changes and marketing systems) in the agriculture sector.

APAARI requests the identified authors to submit a brief abstract of not more than 400 words to Ms Chanerin Maneechansook, Program Assistant, at chanerin@apaari.org  by 31 May 2015. The submission should provide some details of the success story including title of the paper, authors name(s) and institution, contact details, background of the problem, how successfully the technology/practice/innovation got generated and adopted, problems faced, factors responsible for success, and its impact /implications to various stakeholders.

Authors of selected stories will be contacted and provided a guideline for writing the full success story which should be about 50-60 pages in descriptive format. Besides, APAARI could offer a token honorarium of US$ 2,000 to selected authors for writing the success story.
