I am a 37 year old man from Ghana. I am a Research Scientist of the Plant Genetic Resources Research Institute of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ghana on study leave pursuing PhD in Plant Breeding at the West Africa Centre for Crop Improvement, University of Ghana.

I had BSc. (Agric) and MPhil (Crop Science) from University of Ghana and Post Graduate Diploma in Education from University of Cape Coast. I also had short training in Tunisia, India and Tanzania.

Currently, I am studying the genetic control of seed size and colour in cowpea. These two traits are very important to the consumer of cowpea in Ghana and other parts of Africa.

I have been working with the CSIR for about seven years. I taught at high school from 2000 t0 2005. I am a community youth leader and flow easily with both young and adult
