I am a graduate of Agricultural Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. I work with the BRACED COMMISSION which is a regional body responsible for the socioeconomic integration of the South-South region of Nigeria, as Team Lead in the Commission's Agricultural Programmes. My role among other things is the setting up of a technical team of agricultural experts for the development and promotion of a common agricultural policy framework for the region, in order to promote the production of cash crops (Cocoa, rubber, oil palm, Cassava, banana and rice) and aquaculture through the value chain. Prior to this role, I was a senior adviser to a state governor in this region on agriculture for the last 3 and half years.

I am married with two teenage daughters.
