Save the date for a bold, new, and innovative conference on game-changing novel agricultural technologies, ideas, and policies that will move African agriculture forward.
The inaugural African Conference on Agricultural Technologies (ACAT) by the Africa Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF), will be held from 30th October to 3rd November 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya on the theme Agricultural Resilience through Innovation.
ACAT will highlight the centrality of science, technology, and innovation (STI) in fostering agricultural transformation. It will be the principal forum for discussing agricultural technology transfer that catalyze more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable African agriculture. Innovation has been key in solving many of Africa’s challenges; from mobile money payments to drought-tolerant seed, our path towards agricultural resilience therefore depends on innovation.
This first ACAT will highlight technological advances and successes in the development and deployment of innovative technologies to the continent’s smallholder farmers and celebrate 20 years of AATF’s innovation and impact in Africa’s agriculture since its founding in 2003.
