GFAR has successfully launched a new Knowledge and Learning Hub conceived for and driven by its members and partners.

The GFAR/ GFAiR Hub

For the past year, GFAR has worked nonstop to better itself and grow as a “network of networks.” It did so by listening to its Members, Partners and experts, both internal and external. Following the 2018 Independent Evaluation’s recommendations and according to its new Theory of Change as well as its Membership Strategy GFAR is walking the talk by designing and implementing a new hub that will change the way we see and live our network.

The platform, designed as an epicenter of connection, collaboration, and co-creation, will represent a safe space where the forum can prosper and grow by having members actively engage/interact with each other! The platform will promote and facilitate ongoing discussions within our community to foster collaboration and gather feedback – a user-friendly tool through which GFAR can promote knowledge sharing as well as pass on know-how and best practices.

Here is a small teaser of what awaits you:

  • Participate in tailored-made group and/or one-on-one dialogues for mutual learning, collective identification of challenges and potential solutions.
  •  Influence the global agenda, on research and innovation in agriculture, food and rural development, through collective advocacy and providing input to policy-making processes.
  • Actively engage with fellow GFAR members to establish potential partnerships through the dedicated sections
  • Access a vast document repository with key documents as well as newly updated data on ongoing projects and initiatives at a national, regional and global level in the participatory M&E section.
  • Be regularly updated on GFAR projects and initiatives such as CAs to better understand how to best contribute and take action while being aware of new engagement opportunities.
  • Better participate in GFAR governance and accountability mechanisms for the performance of CAs and its other initiatives/projects.

You all will be the protagonists of this new and exciting project by populating the platform as users and actively participating in the different sections of the engagement platform. Joining will be very easy and quick! Visit our website, read our articles and watch our tutorial videos on our channels!

This initiative is tailored for GFAR Members, Partners, "GFAR Friends", and all passionate individuals and entities committed to sustainable and inclusive agrifood research and innovation.
