On day 1, we will focus on the policy-relevant evidence that our valuable partnership with DFID has generated. We will discuss some of the lessons learned from the evidence in social protection and education. The day will also feature Gonzalo Hernandez Licona, executive secretary, National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy (CONVEAL), Mexico, who will deliver the fifth Howard White lecture.

Democratising evidence: innovations in access and measurement

The theme for day 2 is innovation. We will have a world café style session to have conversations on conducting evaluations in conflict-affected states, behavioural science, evidence synthesis and implementation science. This will be followed by a session on open access to data and transparency.
