Kaprie Kanu as a Social Activitist/Advocate has over nine (9) years of experience working directly with grassroots communities and is currently the National Executive Coordinator for the Youth Partnership for Peace and Development (YPPD) Liberia, a local non-governmental, not-for-profit making youth-led organization founded in August 2008 by a group of young like-minded social activists including those with disabilities (male and female) with the aim of bringing new inclusive, innovative and sustainable approaches for the development of youth and their communities in Liberia. YPPD Liberia is legally registered with the Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and accredited by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2012. The organization is currently having it head offices in Paynesville City, Montserrado County, with sub-offices in Kolahun and Foya Districts, Lofa County.
Vision: YPPD envisages a society where young Liberians (disabled and non-disabled) from all works of lives, work and live side by side, empowered to overcome poverty.
Mission:  To empower young Liberians (disabled and non-disabled) from all works of lives in order to provide inclusive sporting activities, vocational skills trainings and entrepreneurial guidance, thereby ensuring young people realize their full potential in transforming and improving the quality of their lives in partnership with other stakeholders and developmental partners.
