The Partners in GFAR are making the difference!

Meeting the Sustainable Development Goals demands Collective Actions that integrate the strengths and capacities of diverse sectors, but that keep farmers and producers at the center.

The Partners in GFAR are now seizing their opportunity to directly shape their future work together in this unique movement for change.

The GFAR Steering Committee has identified key areas for GFAR to focus on in defining and developing GFAR's Collective Actions. They now look to the direct input of the nearly 500 Partners in GFAR to flesh out these actions.

Through an innovative consultative process facilitated by the GFAR Secretariat, the Partners are currently setting out their ideas for how they can meet these challenges together. This is an exciting shift that puts the Partners in GFAR in the driving seat for change.

Stay informed about the results of this consultative process and the new Collective Actions that will be agreed by the members of the GFAR Steering Committee at their next meeting on June 13-15. We encourage you to visit the GFAR website and GFAR Blog for updates, and, if you haven't already, to follow GFAR's Facebook page and Twitter account and join our LinkedIn Group

GFAR Update is a briefing service from the GFAR Secretariat. Our aim is to keep you regularly informed and aware of new initiatives and collective actions of the Partners in GFAR around the world, so that these can have greater reach and impact for those we serve - in particular for poor smallholder farmers and consumers.
