GFAR Impakters
This is especially important now as GFAR Secretariat is embarking on a collaboration with Impakter, a cutting-edge magazine dedicated to delivering high-quality online media that draw links between sustainable development practices and current global events. Impakter will be working with GFAR Secretariat to showcase the valuable work done by Partners in GFAR to transform agricultural research and innovation systems.
All Partners in GFAR can submit written contributions on a key topics related to their work with GFAR and which involve other partners, enabling the public at large to engage with and reflect more deeply upon the value of their work. The articles and blogs will be featured on the Impakter website (https://impakter.com), to bring visibility through Impakter's global network.
A new GFAR newsletter — “GFAR Impakters” — will also feature these written contributions, helping raise awareness of Partners' work within the agriculture community. GFAR Impakters will also improve learning from partnership processes and practical collective actions, a cross-cutting outcome that improves GFAR's capacity for monitoring and evaluation of our impacts.
The GFAR Update as you are receiving it here will continue to be issued on a monthly basis, focusing on Collective Actions being taken forward and news from the GFAR Secretariat. We are pleased that you have already given your consent to receive these mailings. GFAR Secretariat assumes that this consent also extends to receipt of the GFAR Impakters newsletter, unless we hear from you to the contrary at GFAR-Secretariat@fao.org.
