Stephen Yeboah is an academic researcher and journalist with extensive publications on global development issues, particularly in Africa. He has published more than 80 journals, newspaper and online articles, and op-eds on aid, agriculture, mining, and oil and gas.
A Ghanaian national, Stephen was trained in 2011 as a journalist in oil, gas and mining reporting as part of the Media Oversight Training programme of the Revenue Watch Institute and Thomson Reuters Foundation.
Stephen works as a researcher on oil and gas for the Center for Social Impact Studies, a Ghanaian-based non-governmental organization researching the extractive industry in Africa. He is a member of Ghana’s Civil Society Platform for Oil and Gas, a civil society group advocating for transparent and accountable oil and gas sector.
Stephen is currently pursuing a 2-year Masters programme in Development Studies at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva, Switzerland.
